| JMM MP Sunil Mahato to be cremated |
| Slain JMM MP Sunil Mahato will be cremated in Jamshedpur on Monday.

| The MP was meeting villagers after a football match when he was attacked 35 kms from Jamshedpur.
Two of his bodyguards and a party colleague were also killed in the attack.
The Home Ministry's initial assessment of his murder at the hands of naxalites is that it could be a revenge killing.
Mahato had been involved in setting up village defense groups to fight the Naxal menace.
A security review of all MPs in naxal-sensitive areas has also been ordered.
There were huge protests across the region on Monday with traffic on the Kolkata-Delhi national highway coming to a standstill. Train services were also affected.
