Students advised not to getstressed
Students participating in the annual sports meet of Presidency School, Bangalore South
 INDIA , 22-March-2007  3:13:16 AM
Sudarshan Vidya Mandir, Jayanagar, conducted graduation ceremony for the students of Class 10 recently. Students, dressed in traditional attire and looking like young adults ready to face life's challenges participated with mixed emotions in the solemn and dignified ceremony.

The evening began with the lighting of lamp by Vidya Virkar, proprietor, Strand Book Stall; Hemaa Narayan, Principal, and Shaila Anand, senior trustee of the school. This was followed by the valedictory speeches by the students. The principal then initiated the lighting of the lamps of the class teachers, who in turn passed the light to the students.

Ms. Virkar, after handing over the letters of appreciation to deserving students, addressed the students. She advised them to follow the three codes of life — freedom, love and joy. "Don't get stress out, go out and enjoy life," she said, and told parents to guide their wards in realising their potential.

Mr. Gowda reiterated the need for quality education and the importance of physical fitness. He lauded the school for providing quality infrastructure for the students.
