| Nithari killings: CBI files chargesheet

| The CBI has filed its second chargesheet in the Nithari serial killings case in a Ghaziabad court on Tuesday and Moninder Singh Pandher has not been named as an accused.
The chargesheet has been filed in the murder of Pinky Sarkar and according to the CBI, Pandher was not present when she was murdered at his D-5 residence in Noida. The agency said he was actually at a Dehradun hotel.
Pandher is the owner of the Noida house behind which the skeletal remains of 16 women and children were recovered in December 2006.
In its first chargesheet, the CBI had given a clean chit to Pandher.
After investigations that stretched over three months, the CBI in its first chargesheet had named Surinder Koli as the main accused in the case.
Koli, who worked as a cook in Pandher's house when the killings took place, had confessed to the killings during the narco analysis tests and had even confessed to cannibalism
