| The Delhi Police Commissioner will have to explain to the Supreme Court why the sealing drive in the Capital was halted.

| On Tuesday, the court had come down heavily on the MCD and the Delhi Police after the Monitoring Committee, in its report, informed that sealing could not be carried out because of lack of protection as the Delhi Police was busy with the MCD elections.
Just hours after being chastised by the court, the MCD resumed the drive to seal unauthorised commercial establishments
