| A 21-year-old contract worker from Trichy in Tamil Nadu was killed in a bomb blast in Iraq on Thursday.
Ganesan was working at a catering unit for the armed forces in Iraq over the past 11 months.
His parents had collected Rs one and a half lakh with the help of which he went to Dubai to work.
But he later moved to Iraq in search of better opportunity. He was the main breadwinner for his family, sending back Rs 10,000 every month.
His father is a milk vendor and his brothers are labourers.
