| Kerala doctors to strike on May 14 |
| Doctors in Kerala have announced a strike on May 14 to protest against the suspension of the superintendent of Sree Avittam Tirunal (SAT) Hospital

| Dr Rajmohan was suspended on Tuesday in connection with the deaths of several infants due to unhygienic conditions in the hospital.
The Kerala Medical College Teachers Association alleged that the government was making the hospital superintendent a scapegoat.
The association has demanded the withdrawal of his suspension orders and also asked the government to seek explanation from Health Secretary Biswas Mehta.
They has also threatened to launch an indefinite stir if their demands are not met.
