| Five boatmen have been reported missing along with their boats in the Dal Lake after high velocity winds struck Srinagar.
Nearly 200 people, mostly tourists, were saved from drowning in the Lake.
The strong winds uprooted trees and electric poles at various places, plunging the city into darkness on Friday.
CRPF and Shikarawalas are jointly carrying the rescue mission. According to weather department winds at 24 to 30 kilometres per hour are now sweeping the city.
