| Haseena Parkar, the sister of fugitive mafia leader Dawood Ibrahim appeared on Tuesday in a lower court in Mumbai to seek anticipatory bail.
Though Parkar evaded the police for three weeks and has a non-bailable warrant against her, she was not arrested.
She is seeking bail in extortion and forgery cases against her.
The hearing has been postponed till Wednesday and Parkar will be under police surveillance at her residence.
