| Uttar Pradesh is on high alert after Tuesday's serial blasts in Gorakhpur town and an explosives haul at Faizabad railway station on Wednesday.
About 10 kg of explosives and 20 kg of ammonium nitrate were recovered from the railway station in Faizabad, which is next to Ayodhya.
DIG (Faizabad) Prem Prakash Srivastava said the explosives were recovered during searches and alerts following the blasts.
Security has also been tightened in the temple town of Varanasi and the police are conducting searches in Ayodhya as well.
