| SC terms bandh a 'national shame' |

| The Supreme Court has taken suo moto action on Monday's bandh in Delhi on the Gujjar reservation issue.
''It is a national shame,'' said the Supreme Court. The apex court has also directed the DGP of UP, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi Police Commissioner to file affidavits within 10 days on what action has been taken against the protestors.
The court will hear their cases on June 18, 2007. Nobody has filed any Public Interest Litigation (PIL) over the bandh
