| SC relaxes Monica's bail conditions |
| Bedi has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by the Andhra Pradesh High Court in a case of forged passport.

| The Supreme Court has relaxed the bail conditions of Monica Bedi by directing that she would not have to surrender her passport as it has been lost.
The Court directed that her passport issued by the Regional Passport Office, Mumbai be cancelled. The Special CBI Judge in Hyderabad will consider the order while releasing Monica on bail.
The order to this effect was passed by a bench headed by Chief Justice K G Balakrishnan after Bedi's counsel informed the Court that she was not in possession of the passport.
Bedi has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by the Andhra Pradesh High Court in a case of forged passport.
A Madhya Pradesh Court has acquitted her in a similar case.
