| Police probes Delhi acid attack |

| The police are probing the attack on Tarveen Suri, the 36-year old woman who had acid thrown on her by attackers and was then burnt with kerosene on Sunday.
The police now suspect the involvement of a woman, reported to be a colleague of Tarveen's husband.
The victim's husband, Naveen Suri is being questioned by the police.
The couple have two daughters, one eight year old and the other aged seven months.
''This is a reprehensible act and if such incidents continue then how can women be safe in Delhi,'' said Sarika Bawa, Tarveen's sister-in-law.
Tarveen, who suffered 80 per cent burns is still in a critical condition and in emergency care at Delhi's Safdarjung hospital.
