| Hyderabad continues to be on edge after twin blasts that killed 40 on Saturday. There have been four bomb scares in the city, one of them just near the blast location.
It is confirmed that three of them are definitely a hoax. But bomb disposal squads are combing the three other spots, including the state secretariat, which is very close to Lumbini park blast, the site of one of the two blasts on Saturday evening.
On the investigation front, almost 36 hours after the twin blasts there are still no clear leads into who is behind the attack.
But it's being suggested that the role of naxals should be investigated. NDTV has learnt that investigators do indeed have sufficient grounds to look into a naxal involvement. Naxals often use gelatin explosives and Neogel was used in this case.
Home Minister Shivraj Patil on Sunday admitted they had some intelligence inputs that they were unable to put to good use.
He said in a country as large as ours, even with intelligence information it is often impossible to predict where terrorists will strike.
The Home Secretary has said they are exploring all possible leads. Groups like HUJI and JEM could be behind it.
In the wake of the terror attacks, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has suggested setting up of a permanent fund for providing relief to the victims as he reviewed the security situation.
Identifying bodies
It's a tragedy that spreads far far beyond Hyderabad. From Maharashtra to Bihar, many families are now living their worst nightmare.
The bodies of 39 of the 40 blast victims have been identified and are now being flown back home.
Sujit Kumar Jha, who was one of the seven students killed in blast, was a second year student of engineering in Sangamner of Maharashtra. His body has been brought to Patna.
His relatives now have to deal with the difficult task of taking the body back to flood hit Darbhanga.
