| Salman Khan has been released on bail from Jodhpur jail.
Earlier in the day the Rajasthan High Court granted bail to the actor in chinkara poaching case.
The court on Thursday decided to hear his appeal only after going through the records of the case.
Salman had been in Jodhpur Central Jail since August 25, after his five-year jail sentence in the Chinkara poaching case, was upheld by a lower court in Jodhpur.
The court ordered his release on a security of Rs 1 lakh and a bond of Rs 50,000.
The next date of hearing the revision petition has been fixed for October 24.
Meanwhile, the actor's family had gathered outside court waiting for his bail application to be heard. He was whisked away almost immediately
