| A portion of Thirumalai Road from Valluvarkottam to the junction of Habibullah Road becomes two-way from Monday.

| A few modifications to the traffic restrictions in T.Nagar will be made on Monday.
A press release issued on Sunday said the modifications to the restrictions, which came into force on Saturday, were required to overcome certain constraints that slowed down vehicle movement.
From Monday, the North Usman Road stretch from the Habibullah Road junction to the Bazullah Road junction is to be reverted back to two-way traffic system.
Vehicles bound for the North Usman Road-Kodambakkam High Road junction from Venkatnarayana Road or Thiyagaraya Road need to take Bashyam Road, G.N.Chetty Road, Thirumalai Road, Bazullah Road and North Usman Road or Bashyam Road, G.N.Chetty Road, Ragaviah Road and Bazullah Road. Earlier, vehicles were taking Thirumalai Road, Kodambakkam High Road, Periyar Road and Habibullah Road.
From Monday, a portion of Thirumalai Road from the junction of Kodambakkam High Road to the junction of Habibullah Road would be reverted back to two-way traffic.
In the last two days, vehicles coming from the junction of Kodambakkam High Road and Thirumalai Road and intending to proceed towards Vani Mahal junction/Panagal Park via Thirumalai Road/G.N.Chetty Road took Periyar Road, Habibullah Road, North Usman Road, Prakasam Road, G.N.Chetty Road and Thirumalai Road.
Now, they need to take Thirumalai Road, Habibullah Road, North Usman Road, Prakasam Road and G.N.Chetty Road. Other changes in force since Saturday would continue.
