Blueline buses protest govt policy
Blueline bus operators are protesting against the government's policies, which they claim, target the driver unjustly.
 INDIA , 15-October-2007  1:57:57 AM
Commuters in Delhi are in for a tough time as almost 450 Blueline buses are off the roads on Monday.

Blueline bus operators are protesting against the government's policies, which they claim, target the driver unjustly.

The Blueline buses, which have earned the notorious name of ''Killer buses'', have claimed almost 100 lives in Delhi since January.

The government is under tremendous pressure to crackdown on the rampaging buses.

Around 8,000 new buses will be introduced in the national capital before 2010, which will pave the way for eliminating Blueline buses
