| Speaker suspends AIADMK MLAs |

| There was pandemonium in the Tamil Nadu Assembly on Thursday following AIADMK chief J Jayalalitha's comments suggesting that DMK leader MK Stalin was trying to eliminate her.
Stalin moved a privilege motion against Jayalalitha, a few publications and Jaya TV for carrying her remarks.
The Speaker accepted the motion, which will be forwarded to the Privileges Committee.
Irate AIADMK MLAs opposed to the motion rushed into the well of the House and threw a cap at the Speaker's Chair.
The Speaker suspended all AIADMK MLAs present for the rest of the session, which ends on October 22.
