| AIIMS tussle over doctors removal |
| Ramdaoss, who is also the AIIMS President, has questioned an order sent by the Director removing Kumar from his post.

| There has been yet another tussle between AIIMS Director P Venugopal and Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss.
This time the struggle is over the removal of the Head of the Cardiology Department Dr Sampath Kumar.
Ramdaoss, who is also the AIIMS President, has questioned an order sent by the Director removing Kumar from his post.
He has asked for a detailed report on the reasons why such action was taken. The removal is in abeyance till the issue is sorted out.
