The CBI, investigating the mysterious death of Rizwanur Rehman said that all aspects were being investigated and the probe was going in the right direction.
''We have examined many during the day and investigation is progressing well. It is going in the right direction and with good speed,'' CBI Joint Director (Special Crime Cell) Arun Kumar told reporters on Sunday.
He, however, declined to give details. ''They have given many important information. I can't share specific details of what they have said.''
On when the CBI would interrogate the computer graphics teacher's industrialist father-in-law Ashok Todi, he replied, ''We will do the right thing at right time.''
He said that teams have been formed and work was distributed.
Earlier in the day, the CBI team revisited Patipukur near Dum Dum where Rizwanur's body was found and spoke to his family members.
The CBI which on Sunday began formal investigations as ordered by the Calcutta High Court, spoke to Rizwanur's brother elder Rukbanur, his uncle and two cousin brothers at
its office.
The driver and guard of the EMU local train which had reportedly hit Rizwanur, were also questioned.
Arun Kumar had indicated yesterday that Todi was not likely to be arrested immediately.
Rizwanur's body was found on September 21, just over a month after his marriage to Priyanka on August 18, which was opposed by her father, Ashok Todi.
