| Pranab to chair UPA-Left meet |

| A crucial meet of the UPA-Left Committee on the Indo-US nuclear deal will be held on Monday.
The meeting will be chaired by External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and comes after last week's statement from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that the Indo-US nuclear deal may not be the end of life.
And while much is expected from the UPA-Left meet today the CPI - M on Sunday said that it's unlikely to be the last meet on the issue.
Speaking to reporters in Bangalore on Sunday, CPI-M Polit Bureau member Sitaram Yechury said there were likely to be more meetings on the issue.
And until all the meetings were over and until all the Left's concerns were taken care of, the Left expected the government not to go ahead with operationalising the deal.
''In Monday's meeting we will come to know how the government wishes to proceed,'' said Yechury.
He also said the UPA-Left joint committee will only come out with its findings on the Indo-US nuclear deal after Diwali on November 9.
