| Congress released a list of 24 candidates for the Gujarat assembly elections on Monday but did not name the nominee for Maninagar, the constituency from where Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is contesting.
Party sources said the announcement about Maninagar would be made today.
Among the nominees are Babubhai Sakhabhai Patel, contesting from Vijapur, Mahendra Singh Vaghela contesting from Meghraj and Rajendrabhai Joshi, contesting from Palanpur.
