| Congress party in Gujarat is disturbed by dissenting voices of some workers who are irked at being denied tickets to contest assembly elections.
The party members decided today to register their protest by ransacking the state Congress headquarters in the Paldi area of Ahmedabad.
Backed by their supporters, they damaged the office property and even tried to set it on fire.
NDTV sources say that many aspirants loyal to Shankar Singh Vaghela have not being given tickets this time.
While Vaghela has tried to distance himself from this issue, his supporters want to draw the High Command's attention towards the issue.
