| After the Bachchans, it's actress Rani Mukherjee's turn to have a brush with the law over a piece of land.
A farmland she purchased near the temple town of Shirdi in Maharashtra in 2005 has been taken back from her, as it was a government land leased out to a farmer.
The actor had alleged that she was duped into buying the 10,000 square feet of land, but the court threw out her case challenging the penalty imposed on her.
The actress has been asked to pay 75 per cent of the land cost if she wants to regularise the land in her name
