Orissa pays homage to Jalashwa |
Rajesh's father, a retired Army havildar, has reasons to feel proud.

After the gas leak on INS Jalashwa which killed five of the men onboard. Their bodies are now being brought back home to be buried with honour.
Rakesh Nayak, a mechanic who died while trying to help his colleagues on the ship was cremated at Puri on Sunday. The city flocked out to salute their own martyr.
Emotional moments as the body of Rakesh Nayak was brought to his home in Puri on Sunday. The 26-year-old was among the five Navy personnel killed aboard INS Jalashwa on Friday.
Rakesh, trained at INS Chilika, was a mechanic with INS Jalashwa and was killed when he tried to help his colleagues hit by a poisonous gas leak in the warship.
''Rajesh who was in the gym rushed to help them. He didn't know the gas was poisonous,'' said Ramesh Chandra Shalya, INS Jalashwa.
Rajesh's father, a retired Army havildar, has reasons to feel proud.
''He is a martyr. He laid down his life to save others. He deserves the respect of the people not just in Puri but Orissa and the country. I am proud of him. He was really good,'' said Narayan Naik, Rakesh's Father.
Rajesh was cremated at the local Swarg Dwar cremation ground after a guard of honour by INS Chilika.
And people had turned up in large numbers to bid final goodbye to their hero.
