Utsav Lal, Indian Prodigy Pianist ,at 15 yrs of age ,has acquired International acclaim for his original rendition of mesmerising Indian Ragas on the Piano. The programme will see Utsav include Indian Ragas like Raga Khamaj in its full splendor , Raga Madhuvanti in an unusual combination with the Mridangam played by carnatic musician CS Koushik. Utsav will also showcase some legendary Indian compositions dating back to 50's .
The highlight will be a special rendition of Raga Hamsadhwani in a Jugalbandi with Irish Musican Dara O'Brien on the Sitar.
Utsav will also present a specially composed piece called "Ragas to Reels" in a Jugalbandi between Piano & the Irish Flute played by noted traditional Irish musican Dave Sheridan. The piece will see Utsav & Sheridan flow from Indian Ragas to traditional Irish Reels in a musical treat that goes beyong language barriers.
