Description : |
| |
Implementation and ownership of an internal data governance program.
• High degree of initiative and enthusiasm about data and the ability to derive value from data.
• Collect past and present data to establish trends within the organizational data.
• Analyze existing data to develop projections of the outcomes of implementing certain business strategies based on historical data.
• Analyze existing data with an eye for identifying and resolving anomalies or inconsistencies within the data.
• Implementation of a data quality standard and plan for the data warehouse.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with the BI team and end users to define and mine the right data sources efficiently and accurately.
• Proficient SQL skills and mastery of Excel.
• Proven analytical and quantitative skills and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.
• Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills that enable you to explain complex insights with clarity and precision.
• Experience in Data Mining (SQL, ETL, complex data warehouses)
• Work with third party vendors to reconcile data integration points on a regular basis.
• Create high-impact and compelling visuals to present metrics and findings to management and colleagues.
• Experience in managing large complicated data sets and integrating disparate sources of data into a databases or data warehouse for ease of reporting and analysis
• Strong communication & presentation skills (verbal and written) with executive-level reporting experience.
