Cllient currently has an opportunity for a Systems Management Engineer – Client Tools. The primary role of the System Management Engineer is to design, configure, and deploy enterprise systems management solutions that enable IT teams to more proactively identify issues and potential issues, more quickly identify cause(s) of issues, automate routine and repeatable responses to events in the infrastructure, and provide real-time views of application and infrastructure heath. In addition, this role is part of a team responsible for the ongoing administration and configuration of the enterprise systems management suite of tools. Key Tools include: 1. Client BSM/OMI for event management, event correlation, and response automation 2. Client UCMDB and DDM discovery for application mapping and asset management 3. Client BPM for automated monitoring of WM applications 4. Client RUM for real-time collection and analysis of user traffic 5. Client NNMi for network monitoring and dependency mapping 6. Client OMW for infrastructure monitoring and performance reporting Duties and Responsibilities: • Design, configure, and maintain the CMDB/discovery jobs and manage Configuration Items and relationships stored in the database • Design monitoring solutions that more effectively and more proactively detect issues in the infrastructure • Develop dashboard views and perspectives in BSM that provide IT teams with real-time insight into specific areas of the WM |
