| |
Confidently translate requirements, use cases, prototypes, and/or abstract conceptual ideas into inventive user interfaces for the web and applications.
* Fully support user-centered design principles, including devising innovative ways to incorporate results from user testing, research activities, and informal feedback into a superior user experience.
* Understand how interfaces integrate with dynamic, Web-based applications and be able to appropriately document the design target HTML for backend integration by the development team.
* Be adept at developing HTML or XHTML templates, CSS files and necessary image assets that meet WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines. HTML and CSS code quality is exceptional, semantically correct and easily scalable.
* Be proficient with Web standards, cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and progressive enhancement strategies.
* Have strong JavaScript (specifically jQuery and jQueryUI), AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3 development skills.
* Have experience with the following: AngularJS, Ember.js, Backbone.js, node.js, MVC frameworks, Grunt, Bower, Karma, GulpJS, JSON, XML, MVC frameworks and new technologies are a plus.
* Have experience with CSS preprocessor such as Sass or LESS, Git/Github, Twitter bootstrap and/or Foundation frameworks is a plus
* Understand and have some experience developing server-side code, such as PHP, ColdFusion, and the Atlassian stack are a plus.
* Have experience with enterprise CMS, Adobe CQ5 CMS is a big plus
* Have experience with Jive Software's social networking applications and APIs is a plus
* Have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
* Be familiar with Agile development processes; estimation of effort; coding practices such as design/reviews, coding standards, code reviews, tagging, code freeze/branching; automated build process, deployment and testing is a big plus |
