Description : |
| |
Works across functional teams and supports other QA teammates as required.
* Analyzes business and functional requirements, UI design, reports and routines and works with LOB, Business Analysts, and PM to identify project-specific testable business requirements.
* Formulates proposals for functional, testing, and process improvements and information needs by analyzing existing systems and procedures.
* Provides accurate testing estimates based on business requirements and other project documentation; writes and reviews test plans.
* Assists in leading and mentoring lower-level business systems analysts.
* Develops Subject Matter Expertise and acquires ownership of the functionality under her/his responsibility.
* Has good working knowledge of ALM or equivalent test management methodology.
* Makes recommendations in the form of proposals, training or knowledge transfer.
* Performs special duties and projects, functional troubleshooting as needed or assigned.
* Performs tests of new software functionality and modifications to existing systems.
Qualifications:
* 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, military or related discipline.
* Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software; knowledge of software packages and current technologies.
* Demonstrated experience in providing test estimates for scoping.
* Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance testing methodologies.
* Superior written and verbal communication skills.
* Keen understanding of process improvement and quality assurance.
* Hands on experience with troubleshooting software and related issues |
