We currently have an opening for an Applications Architect (.NET) in our Windsor, CT office. In this role, you will undertake highly-complex IT Architecture projects requiring specialized technical knowledge involving multiple disciplines to meet a broad spectrum of business needs Applications Architect (.NET)Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide high-level technical leadership in the architecture, development, vision, strategy and overall design for assigned domain and applications • Define and communicate enterprise architecture strategies, principals, standards, policies and procedures as necessary • Meet all business requirements; provide consultation to business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range technical solutions in order to meet all goals • Responsible for delivery of architecture/design and related deliverables, including design artifacts and applications • Design all applications, document solution designs, and other architecture artifacts using standard notations, including UML, Use Cases, Swim Lanes, etc. • Responsible for developing solution designs that follow Business and Domain roadmaps, blueprints, and enterprise standards • Lead teams, technical projects, and programs, assuming overall leadership responsibility for project architecture and design • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, including mentoring junior members on the team • Resolve highly complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues Supervisory Responsibilities: Due to the advanced nature of this job, some informal supervisory duties, such as delegation of tasks, may be required. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar area of study, and ten or more years' related previous experience required with a Master's Degree preferred. Required Knowledge, Skills or Abilities: • Advanced development experience using .NET frameworks • |
