| |
Creates test scripts and plans for testing server and client software
* Implements tests to ensure overall quality of the software
* Provides troubleshooting and quality assurance review for customers
* Participates in reviewing, refining and expanding existing testing protocols
* Works closely with Engineering and customers to facilitate resolution of product issues and incorporate changes testing protocols to anticipate and address potential future
issues
* Contributes ideas toward the enhancement and/or modification of existing testing framework designs in support of new software
* Reviews product documentation and contributes corrections and updates
* Enters and tracks product defects and work with development engineering to process issues to completion
* Evaluates and implements new tools and frameworks for QA.
* Contributes to the entire Development process and the role of QA in it, including participation in design and review activities, and postmortems
* Serves as technical resource to the team
* Serves as mentor to more junior Software QA Engineers |

5+ years experience working with Windows Client/Server software, as well as core and user interface testing experience
* 2+ years writing test plans and scripts
* Working knowledge of Windows XP, 2000, NT, Me, 98, VMWare, and Big tracking
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Outlook, Word as well as ability to learn new software programs such as Axapta |
