The Application Production Group will take ownership of systems where primary function would be to support critical Qwest applications.
Examples of the critical applications. (Customer facing applications
E Commerce applications 24/7
Middle Tier Applications supporting e-commerce or telecom provisioning systems
Applications managing server farms running 100+).
We are hiring for the following vacancies:
Years of experience: 3 - 6 years
Perform production support duties for multiple applications set on several different platforms and built with various languages and tools. The scope of the role is:
Required:
1) Be 24 x 7 on call in a rotation with his team members
2) Have mature OS, coding and test skills.
3) Ability to integrate work and personal responsibilities.
4) Ability to effectively communicate to various support teams.
5) Ability to research problems quickly and effectively including analyzing production log files is critical.
6) Able to independently perform analysis and support of moderately complex web applications, using utilities and internet/intranet-related tools.
7) Ability to perform, test and support application deployments & infrastructure changes (upgrades, patches, maintenance, etc)
8) May be required to lead a small team.
