| |
This position is a key business development role in identifying/developing new lines of QUALCOMM business and in assisting senior management in efforts to seek, secure and support new business opportunities with Indian Handset manufacturers (LG, Nokia, Samsung, etc) and carriers (BSNL, Tata, Reliance). Key aspects of the role include:
? Develop and maintain business relationship with customers. Act as a technical and business liaison to translate technical features and chipset specifications from carriers into actual handsets from leading handset OEMS;
? Responsible for key numbers of sales of Qualcomm products & services from a designated account / client
? Will require working closely and forming value-added executive relationships with carrier procurement teams and handset OEMS based in India.
? Consistently delivering on forecast
? Would be involved in strategic plan
? Work with strong technical teams through credibility and gaining respect
? Track business opportunities currently In progress in order to ensure completion of commitments on a timely basis
? Manage all aspects of a business unit in-country operations to include marketing and sales
? Facilitate communication between the in country business unit subsidiary, regional office operation and San Diego based business unit headquarters
? Strong coordination will be required between Product Management and Sales team in San Diego as well as Regional sales teams in Asia.
