| |
Experienced IC designers to manage and lead teams responsible for developing ASICs for wireless modem chips, from definition stage through to tapeout
Work with engineering and marketing leads to develop product roadmaps, define product featuresets, define requirements and schedules, and drive teams through development to successful product completion. Lead one or more state of the art ASICs implementing wireless modems (CDMA, UMTS, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, 802.11x, BT, OFDM, etc), 3D graphics, video, high speed processors, microprocessor buses, memory controllers and DSPs.
Skills/Experience: Looking for demonstrated track record & leadership in one or more of the following areas:
* Leading, managing, and motivating teams
* Designing cores and ASICs for production
* SOC development and 3rd party IP core integration
* Physical design work including timing closure, clock tree synthesis, noise analysis, power grid analysis and understanding deep submicron issues
* Test and characterization of high speed interfaces, microprocessor and DSP cores
* Design for Test (DFT) including ATPG, memory BIST, logic BIST, IDDQ test techniques
Additional Skills: Knowledge in CMOS circuit design, deep submicron issues, VHDL, Synopsys tools, Perl/shell scripting preferred.
