The Information designer develops print and online documentation for the product. The Designer works as a member of the engineering team working on one or more of our products. This position reports to the appropriate project manager. The Designer is responsible for the quality and completeness of product documentation, content management and general product maintenance. recognizes and assists in schedule creation in the project-planning process. resolves in-process problems independently, or with minor input from the project manager. reviews new product or new release proposals, and provides feedback to engineering on product features and project schedules
Desired Profile
Bachelor's degree in Science/ Engineering/ English/ Mass Communication. Atleast 3 years of core technical writing experience.
1. Excellent writing and editing skills.2. Experience in using MS Word, FrameMaker and Adobe Acrobat 3. Excellent verbal communication skills.4. Ability to work as an independent writer/editor and interact with development teams and other writers.5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and technical environment.6. Experience of writing online help and print documents.7. Awareness to Content Management & Scripting Tools desirable
