The selected person would play the role of software quality assurance specialist for a group of projects. This includes
(a) helping the project manager to define the process requirements
(b) conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance against processes
(c) collecting and analyzing project level metrics
(d) making presentations to senior management and customer on a periodic basis, on the quality trend for the project
Desired Profile:
Essential skills:
(a) Working knowledge of ISO, CMM
(b) Basic statistical techniques
(c) Good written and oral communication skills
(d) presentation skills
(e) Ability to do macro programming in MS Office/VB Scripts
Desirable skills:
(a) Usage of statistical tools like Minitab
(b) Personal work experience in a CMMI assessed company
The person should be willing to travel on short assignments
