ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is one of the nation's leading professional services firms, providing assurance and advisory, tax, and management consulting services through nearly 30,000 people in more than 100 U.S. cities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with U.S. based senior marketing manager (MM) to prepare and keep current a market analysis and marketing plan for greater Philadelphia.
Keep current on market trends, current events, and activities taking place in the greater Philadelphia market and share key information or insights with MM, the office managing partner (OMP), and practice office functional leaders as appropriate.
Support MM and OMP in the development and execution of local targeting strategies including growth group target programs.
Develop individual and office wide nominations for professionals in practice office (Forty Under 40, etc.). For example, interview via e-mail or phone call candidates for an award and then prepare (write and design) nomination.
Work on event coordination and key administrative and communications activities for events in greater Philadelphia. For example, develop an event invitation, generate a targeted mailing list, distribute email invites to clients, and manage RSVPs (via the internet). May also include development of presentation materials for the event and organizing logistics.
Qualifications:
MBA degree and 3 years relevant experience
Excellent project management skills
Proficient with MS Office tools such as Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Word, etc.
Must have marketing functional experience and interest in research
Must have strong internet research and prefer some direct marketing experience
Strong writing skills
Must be inquisitive and interested in learning more about individual cities/markets in the U.S.
