Hi,
Patni has opportunities for Java professionals. The positions would be based at Mumbai.We are keen on professionals who could join us as Team Leads/ Senior Specialist .We have lead roles happening with Patni Mumbai.The said roles exists for our Growth Industries SBU that caters to :-
1) Logistics & Transportation,
2) Energy & Utilities,
3) Media & Publication
4) Retails Verticals
The current position are for Technology Group within GI Business Unit in Patni has following charter:-
1. Participation in Client Delivery in the form of review/ownership of all upper cycle activities in the project – Upper cycle activities are – Architecture definition, Selection of Development methodology, Technical Design, Creation of Standards/Guidelines for all the phases.
2. Liason with Technical Architect/Managers from Client/Prospect during the proposal/pre-sales/Inception phases of projects
3. Research on Architectural patterns/Newer development tools/products/white papers
4. Proof Of Concept/Framework building for projects use.
The typical responsibilities for Architect are –
1. Working on multiple smaller engagements or single large engagement in the role of Lead/Principal Architect.
2. Review of Designs/scalability/Performance considerations on the project
3. Mentoring of Junior technical resources to create architects
4. Leading the intellectual property creation in the form of publications/proof of Concepts/research Papers/estimation If techniques etc.
