Description : |
| |
Supports fully redundant, fault tolerant LAN and WAN configurations involving redundant hardware and connectivity, load-balanced configurations, and failover configurations using network protocols including HSRP, PNNI, RIP, OSPF, BGP, VPN and others.
• Ability to administer network-based security products, including Checkpoint Firewall-1 (4.x, NG),Cisco Pix, RADIUS, Security Dynamics ACE server, various IDS products (see above)
• Support and troubleshoot highly available VPN solutions using products like Checkpoint VPN-1, Cisco VPN IOS feature sets, or similar
• Provides M&Ps and other documentation for support staff
• Manages vendors for troubleshooting and outage support
• Provides first-tier support and troubleshooting for operational issues
• The ability to work on Remedy tickets including IP Addresses allocation, switch allocation, port allocation, Box in/out tasks and other basic network tasks.
• Assist in the configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of all network and security devices. |
