Role: Service Product Manager, BFSI—Defines and builds a high-value set of service offerings, both horizontal and vertical
Responsibilities: The role includes:
Market research
Identification of high-value service opportunities within our overall capabilities, based on assessed market opportunity
Assignment of core service “champions” in the CSR and Delivery organization for each service offering
With champions, detailed definition of each service offering and the creation of a Sales Kit for each, including:
Data Sheet
Case Studies
PowerPoint Presentation
White Papers and Points of View
Methodology
Estimating Guidelines
Other practice tools, as applicable
Support to sales teams in preparing and reviewing proposals for new service offerings
Periodic assessment of existing service offerings to weed out unsuccessful ones and decide what to do with them
Keeping abreast of BFSI trends, to identify potential new service offerings for evaluation by:
Keeping on top of the trade and technical press and analyst reports
Talking to clients and practice teams
Attending conferences
Experience: 5-7 years in IT services for the team lead; 3-5 years for team members |
