| |
* Must have prior 4-6 years experience developing large, complex C++ / Qt/XWindows/Motif applications on Linux.
* Must have very good grasp of Object Oriented Programming and Design as well as applying some of the well known design patterns used in developing n-tier architecture solutions.
* Must have a good command of Linux systems programming especially sockets and other form of Linux inter-process communication.
* Familiarity with writing customized Qt painters, and an understanding of the Qt event system is required.
* Experience in IP and networking protocols and architectures.
* Familiarity with security, including security of networks, servers, and VoIP systems.
* Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects.
* Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem solving skills.
* Ability to support and track multiple simultaneous projects.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Experience with full life cycle systems development methodologies.
* Ability to analyze and balance facts, priorities, resources, constraints and alternatives to make sound decisions and recommendations.
