| |
Measure delivery quality and expediency daily. Assess trends and verify that SLA and SLO are being met. Report on these.
- Oversee Incident, Problem, Request and Change Management
- Assure Capacity and Performance Management
- Develop and maintain all necessary documentation for the assigned services
- Manage staffing, on-call assignments, escalation paths
- Manage staff training
- Manage and drive the continuous improvement process
- Develop relevant metrics for the assigned services.
- Interface with sales, marketing, account management as appropriate
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to structure and present information from data to process documentation and executive summaries.
- Ability to create data queries and program automatic reports with your own means (ODBC, Perl, shell scripts, cron, ssh/scp*). Ability to discover database schemas of management tools (Remedy, OpenView etc.) with little to no support from developers or DBAs.
- Ability assess the impact that process or tools changes will have on operations service delivery, and to measure such impact.
- Detail oriented.
- Driven to dig into details, gather the facts.
- Ability to manage to SLA and SLO, to develop metrics and measure against them |
