| |
Database setup, administration, monitoring, and support:
- Provide hands-on database installation, configuration, administration and
support for all implementation, development, test, demo, and production
databases (SQL Server and MySQL)
- Manage database schema changes, software updates, and patches.
- Provide account administration for all database resources.
- Provide front-line response to events generated by database monitoring and
alerting systems.
- Manage and maintain backup strategy and system for all databases (working
with Corporate IT Services in Charlotte).
- Work with database and reporting tools such as Red Gate, DataJunction,
JasperReports, iReport, MS Access and others.
- Provide database support for new client start-ups and production
deployment.
- Provide requirements and solutions to expand existing monitoring tools.
- Develop and manage all database policies and processes regarding backup,
archiving, disaster
- Develop, document, and update general processes and procedures using tools
such as Word, Visio, Wiki.
