Responsible for creating, rewriting, editing and authenticating technical user manuals, application papers, product descriptions, data sheets and specification books. Creates documentation in a clear and concise style in consultation with technical staff. Typically uses web publishing and development tools to write, in clear and concise language, such technical documents as procedure manuals, service manuals, and related technical publications concerned with installation, operation, and maintenance of system software and hardware. Includes writing such technical documentation as operational specifications, bulletins, articles, and user manuals. Overseas preparation of illustrative material selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts.
