Description : |
| |
- Planning, Configuration and Implementation of RAC setup on Database creation/maintenance of database instances
-Managing logical and physical database structures and rollback segments.
- Monitoring Database Activities, Checking for Tablespace Availability, Checking the Alert Log File for errors, and monitoring the Hit Ratios.
- Application Query tuning on all modules using tkprof explain plan & statspack.
- Tuning for I/O Contention, Memory contention, Row Migration, Block Contentions, etc.
- DB Cache, SGA Tuning, Optimizing using CBO, analyzing tkprof & statspack reports.
- Analyzing access path for FTS, Indexing, Data Integrity, Consistency etc.
- Planning Backup & Recovery procedures, Performing Backup and Recovery activities (both in archive & no archive mode) using RMAN & Export/Import utilities
- Loading Bulk data from flat files using SQL*Loader, Creating users and security management.
-Configuration/Troubleshooting of tnsnames, listeners setup.
- Configuration of standby / clone database, analyzing archive files using Logminer utility.
- Formulating Backup Policies, SQL Tuning,Monitoring Performance issues, setting up coding standards
