Required knowledge includes
- broad technical knowledge on Operating systems and Storage devices
- technical knowledge and experience on DataProtector, FSE, Storage Essentials, OVSAM
- technical knowledge on tape hardware
- the ability to clarify and analyze a technical problem and develop a solution
Essential Skills - experience with DataProtector on HP-UX and Windows
- broad technical knowledge on multi-platform UNIX and/or Windows
- affinity with software related support processes
- knowledge of attached and networked storage hardware and concepts
(SAN, NAS, DAS)
- knowledge of storage libraries and concepts Preferred:
- Knowledge on Solaris, Linux or VMS
- knowledge of Remote Support and Remote monitoring processes and concepts
