The primary purpose of the System Analyst II position is to provide system administration of Red Hat Linux servers. This includes
providing analysis of business and management problems in terms of system and user department requirements. This position is
classified as essential. The employee must be available for Hurricane Ride Team assignment and or Hurricane Recovery Team
assignment per institutional policies. It is expected that the employee will rotate these duties with other members of the team, but the
employee may have specialized skills or assignments which require the employee to participate every time. The position requires
carrying a pager at all times and working varied hours as needed, including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays to complete assigned
tasks and project deliverables on schedule.
