Description : |
| |
Configure, and maintain multiple Cognos environments
• Perform Cognos monitoring and performance tuning activities
• Work with various teams, prioritizes tasks to meet project deadlines
• Maintain technical documentation to reflect changes to the environment
• Completes other duties as assigned
Skills:
• 3+ yrs Cognos application experience
• Knowledge of Cognos infrastructure, report generation, DB integration
• Ability to tune & configure Cognos
• Ability to deploy Cognos reports
• Understanding of Cognos 8 & higher & its interactions with infrastructure components such as relational databases (Oracle, IBM DB2, Microsoft SQL Server).
• Working knowledge of AIX
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, SSL, etc.)
• Ability to plan and prioritize work & meet project deadlines.
• Self-directed, possess a sense of urgency to meet established deadlines
• Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation
