Description : |
| |
Support a business intelligence environment using Cognos products
Install, configure, and upgrade Cognos software
Troubleshooting of report issues and performance issues is critical
Work with DBAs, report writers and system administrators to track down and improve or eliminate bottlenecks in the BI reporting environment
Provide technical support to the Cognos report writers
Will help develop, test and maintain ETL procedures and jobs
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or closely related discipline
Hands-on development and implementation of Cognos 10 BI suite of tools
Experience in Cognos Content Manager and Dispatcher configuration variables
Experience in Cognos Connector to change Cognos configuration, add Data Sources, schedule jobs, set alarm thresholds etc.
Understanding of Cognos report writing using Framework Manager, and Report Studio
Experience and Proficiency in writing SQL queries
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Experience ETL Modeling and using ETL tools
Some knowledge of Oracle DB Administration |
