Oracle DBA with strong technical experience in MS SQL.
• One or two RAC implementation experience
Responsibilities/Expected deliverables:
• Perform Oracle database (11g, RAC & standalone) design, architect, installation & configuration
• Perform MS-SQL 2008 cluster design, architect, installation and configuration
• Manage DEV, UAT, VAL and production environment usage, refreshes and integrations concerning DBs
• Proactively monitor databases to ensure DB health, performance & stability
• Work closely with application development groups to analyze and troubleshoot database performance
and capacity issues
• Responsible for implementation and release of database changes.
• Assist developers with database requirement gathering, load testing & capacity planning
• Work closely with server and storage team concerning system resource usage and disk space allocation, system backups, and system performance.
